About Me:

My name is Vanessa. I love graphic design/web design and most areas of the technology field. I have been designing since 2000. I started off on my computer at home. I would watch the Disney movies on TV and dream of working in animation from Disney’s Pixar. The process of creating animated movies really intrigued me. I began to play with design and the first program I started with was a program that my husband had told me about before we were married. It was the good old, Printmaster Gold. This was the beginning of my computer graphic creations. From then on I began to conture my craft. I started off with a little design here and a few colors there. Then I was making signs/posters, and then greeting cards, then newsletters, then business cards and it went on from there. Then one day I decided to tap into website design and from there I was on a mission to master my creative eyes.
Now everything has to look just right. If colors are off, then I feel like I have to change it. If the picture is off centered, I have to take another one. If the website lacks the skills of a designer, I have to find out who created it. It began to be a passion for me. At home, if it is not a picture of my family, then my desktop background has to be something that is creative yet inspirational. Even in my day job as a Computer Network Technician, I can’t help but incorporate my creative skills and create custom websites, eye catching applications, and creative posters. I am in love with design……I live, breathe and eat it. I love candy coated desktop wallpapers, distinctive professional business cards, photo enhanced photography, photoshoped creations and bold and glossy vibrant colors.
I am not just your average designer; I am a designer with a gift.
