About Me:

Web designer/developer for 12 years, recently re-invented my HTML layout skills to be totally xHTML/CSS based, then reinvented them AGAIN to be HTML5/CSS3/jQuery based. I'm good at improving a web site by first understanding the company's objectives and thus the Primary Objective of the site, and I'm a proponent of clear layout and ease-of-use.

Which is to say, that I know enough to know how much more there is to know about that I don't yet know. And I'm learning, rapidly - catching up with the curve.

What I'm not: a graphic artist, nor a web applications developer. I'm more "everything in between."

That doesn't really "sell" me, does it? That doesn't matter to me at the moment, because I'm not coming here to win freelance work. I'm here to raise my game. And I hope my comments and feedback can help you and others, along the way.

I have been hired a Web Design Specialist at Virginia Tech for 1.5 years. I have helped complete one web redesign project that was underway when I got here, completely redesigned another site, and I maintain content on those two and one other.
