About Me:

I've worked as a Web Developer for 4 years and currently do various work for a Professional CMS developer. I do a bit of freelance work for local small business and non-profits.

My strengths lie in my HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills NOT in my design skills. I can cutup pretty much anything and turn it into a beautiful functional website but as far as creating my own designs well...

I find they often look unfinished. 'Design is in the details' I write in my blog. I work with a lot of different designers on their various projects so I consider myself to be a fairly good consultant when it comes to the usability and functionality of a website.

I've worked with a lot of different CMS platforms and could tell you the pros and cons of each. My platform of choice is WordPress however if I had any sort of large client I would push them towards a professional CMS like SiteCM.

So I am here to become a better designer or A designer for that matter because I certainly am not one now. I am gaining photoshop skills and definitely have an eye for design and would like to be able to do more.
