As a teen, I was intrigued by animated movies like Toy Story and A Bug's Life and cool TV commercials. At the time, our high school actually offered graphic design courses and a 3D course that I quickly signed up for. I chose La Salle University to study graphic design, animation, and website design/development, and I quickly picked up php, CSS, MySQL, and Flash. Unfortunately, they did not have a strong animation foundation.
I landed a web design and development job right out of college where I worked for about 2 years before making a big decision to leave the industry and manage projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Since I still loved designing and developing websites (just didn't want to do it full time anymore), I started taking jobs on the side. I established Anders Studio and I've continued to learn new skills and stay tuned with the industry, which has built my credibility and gained more referrals.
