It looks clean and fine, but it lacks originality. Could be a ready made template...

    the eye

Is the eye their logo and can not be changed? For I find that blue dot a bit disturbing, I would try how it would look if it was white.

First, thank you for the invitation to review, and apologies that I am a bit slow...

But about the layout: Patrick already said what I have on my mind, so read that well and do some styling changes.

It needs a background color, then it is ready. And the hand could also be lower, too much wrist.

Right align the menu, contact is now strangely alone. I think font on the headlines "released themes..." and "theme force delivers" should be larger. And you could use color on the headlines.

One question: if in the Yoga-conversation Greg and Kathy and Elizabeth had also posted a pic, what would the conversation look like?

hey Miro, I like the way you think, very practical! thats defiantly a good point, i think before I code anything I'm going to have to do a bunch more designs, no data, more data and some of the interaction/ajax stuff ;-)

thanks again!! your time and feedback is much appreciated

Try lighter background, lose the flags from the language-selection, and change the headline typeface.

I agree, the background is too dark. I want to remove the flags, and have it placed in a drop down menu. What I'm concerned about is that non-web savvy people might not understand that it's a drop down menu. :-|

Do you have suggestions on how to make the consumer's language more recognizable? While still making it pleasing to the eye of course! :P

I would use a full width image and move the registration form under the three lines of text that is on the left.

Much better than the last one, Marq. What I would still change is: the blue buttons are too saturated, put the main test in two columns and try to tackle that yellow somehow - maybe with a gradient? I often use gradients that are "about the right color" when I have use difficult colors like your yellow.

which button you are referring? the menus? or the prev next buttons (same as locate us) ? The color combination of yellow, blue, green and typeface of trebuchet is standard and cannot be replaced or else the Philippine franchise will be defranchised by the main office in australia lol.

Oh, forget my comment, I am looking at your layout with my work computer now and the buttons don´t look that saturated at all. (I was referring to the prev-next buttons).

    mixed feelings...

By just looking at the colors and graphics I would say this is a site for children. So I suggest you rethink the whole design, colors and the rest of the design too.

Use less colors, less elements and align all to a grid.

Thanks for the feedback. When you say less elements, do you mean products on the homepage?

Hi, actually no, I think you need the product images since the products are what you want to sell. But you have so many splashes, many arrows and stuff that they make the page very hard to read. You have also elements in many different angles and it makes the overall look messy.

I have taken the feedback on board from the site and submitted a new design. I would appreciate your feedback. Cheers, Stephen.

    so white...

Posted on Apr 05, 2010 at 12:48 AM

I understand that this is a fat free -product so it needs to be white, but still it feels empty. The typefaces are not really good, but maybe you have not chosen them yet.

Thanks for your suggestions, I'll take them to the client however it is important for them to have a point of difference to the boxes around theirs (which are all dark, heavy and very busy).

    I like the first one

How about putting the car in front of a romantic sunset (a bit of cliche I know...actually, forget that :-D )? Then you could take away the warning sign. I think I have seen the second one before and I don´t think the third one is so good, though it is within the same concept. Nice to see some advertising work here!! Think of more variations and show them to us, you know that if the theme is good you can create numerous variations of it.

    font

Posted on Apr 04, 2010 at 12:19 PM

Hi, I think this font is a bit boring for logo use, have you tried others? The idea of the pen is nice, but the pen is now too small to notice - maybe a lot bigger "i" or the "i" as a separate icon or in different color than the rest of the text..?

    • Leo Aljiro San Luis

Thanks. I am currently choosing fonts and decided to give this a try. I will consider making the pen bigger or making it separate as an icon

Looks very good, I like how the red pops out of this design. You could lose some empty space that is under the main image. Have you tried Cambria for the font, isn´t that web safe enough?

Thanks :) I have considered using the blue as a background as well as a black but I found them to be a tad too harsh and the focus of the site is the color, which gets washed out a bit! I'll have a play with a few more options though :) Cheers

that good point... the main menu is the menu at the left, the navigation at the top it is going to appear just when visitor click the portfolio link,

thx, I will try to find a better solution
