Pharmaceutical/Biotech Marketing Consulting
1 VoteHi,
Colors are boring. Font choice is poor. Pictures are uninteresting.
Layout is poor overall.
As a suggestion, I think you can still keep the palette (if necessary) but think on a layout more based on these examples: - http://www.capgemini.com/ - http://www.sophos.com/ - http://www.integratedwealthcounselors.com/ - http://www.monkdevelopment.com/
Definitely, really definitely give up the idea of having that bevel effect on the logo and the feather gradient on that hand-shacking picture!

Free webdesign
0 VotesHi,
The design is good overall.
But, as a suggestion, try a different picture. This doesn't seem very interesting. Is there a reason for all those heads to be cut off?
Definitely you should work better with the typography, especially with the titles. Try something bigger, with a dark-gray shade, and sans-serif.
The background texture on the footer is nice, but it's too obviously Photoshop. Looks tacky.
Hope I have helped! :)

Tommy Mortensen commented:Hi Joao,
Thank you very much for your feedback. I haven't seen the texture-effect before, so I did not think it was to 'untastefull'.
I cut of the heads, because I don't know if I'm allowed to use the image at all. It was taken from a sxc.hu. Do you know where to get good images, which I'm allowed to use in a template that is intended for free distribution?

new website for professional services
0 VotesHi,
Try to add more brightness to the lamp that's on. Add some lights to make it look like the light comes from that specific lamp in the composition.
Also, try a different font on the focal text. Try a sans-serif one.
Hope I have helped.

logo re-design
0 VotesI like the 1st one better too. What's that swirly shape supposed to be on the second one?
The only problem on the first one is that I don't see any connection between the kiwi shape and the "W" letter. Try to do the same but with the "i ". I guess it'll look more like the kiwi's legs!
The fonts being used are great! Good job!

Website redesign for skobbler.de
0 VotesI guess there's nothing wrong with the choice of typography, but perhaps you could work on the info text behind the title. It looks uninteresting and bland. Try to make it bigger.
Other thing this page looks a little too "extensive, perhaps you could make it lighter and shorter.
I love the logo, btw!

Theme Force v2
0 VotesI think you should definitely add a footer to this page. Doesn't have to be a big one, just something to give some extra info and to mark the end of the page.

Logo Design for Alec Jones, Ceramic Artist *Updated*
0 VotesI think the vase on the background could show some problems when the logo is reduced. Perhaps you should highlight it a little bit more and/or bring it the the left side. I love the font choices though. Perfect!

Wordpress Theme for Pubs (Pt. 3)
1 VoteGreat design dude!
Really, I love going to pubs and this website makes me excited about visiting that pub. I loved the "Join us" button! An idea that might give an extra "casual" feel to this (and make it more pubbish-look, if you know what I mean) would be to turn the pad where the logo is a few degrees. Just an idea though... The rest looks great!

My Logo
0 VotesI like his kind of logo, but this one looks a bit weird.
First, the fonts used for the "e" and the f" are different and that makes it look odd. Seen from far, the two letters together can be read as a "d". I don't know if this is the intention, but if not, consider changing the position of both letters, try to make them more vertically centralized.
the website signature underneath is great! :)

Focus Flow website
0 VotesVery good job!
I would try to make the selected option in the navigation a bit more highlighted.
The choice of colors is great, and the Apple-style design fits it perfectly.
You could also try to use some simples icons on the top right in the two black boxes underneath, just as an idea.

Logo redesign
0 VotesKacamba is a common word in portuguese and it's always an exclamation. If this is the intention, perhaps you could try to make it more informal and spontaneous by changing the font type or adding an exclamation point.
I really like the font you chose, but it doesn't seem to match the purpose. However, if this is not directed to the Brazilian, Portuguese or any other portuguese speaking market, please ignore my comment :)

Web Store design for Kathryn Ireland
0 VotesVery simple and efficient design! That helps a lot the interface readability. I would change the type font in the left navigation. You definitely should try some san-serif typography. I can see your intention here but it just seems like seriffed fonts don't work on vertical menus :)

Portfolio Homepage
0 VotesThe idea itself is great. However, if I were you, I would try a different texture for the background, try some paper texture. Also, the main area (where the cartoon can is) could show some line in the horizon so it would show some depth :)
-
Kyle Scollin commented:Thanks :) I'll definitely try messing with the texture. Do you think its ok if the top and bottom areas have texture but the main area is clean like it is right now?

website redesign
1 VoteI think it looks amazing. I don't know how it's going to look like when it's ready and online, but you could try to make the font in the text body bigger.

3 VotesTry to make the mountains stand out a little bit more. perhaps just a little more saturation will do it :)
-
Brian Caicco commented:thanks for the feedback, I wanted the mountains to have faded/aged photograph look to them, that's why they are probably looking a little desaturated.

Little effort or value in this feedback...
