    Information Hierarchy

A busy design can be okay, as long as there is a coherent flow of the information on the page.

On the second design, I would leave the utility bar where it is, but then look to possibly re-arrange some of the information:

    1) Logo + Browse Calendar + 1st Comphrensive… but lose Everyday… Here's why: the text in 1st Comprehensive is so complimentary, and is important to your brand, its also going to be the first action someone takes, outside of submitting either an event or photos. The "everyday" text goes better with the section below.

    2) We Are… + Everyday the worlds… and Company Logos Why: The sport brands you are working with tie directly back to your manifesto and the service you are going to bring them.

    3) Video + Quote + signup Why: They are supporters or action items based on the information above, and should be arranged together.
