Personally I would do something to separate the header (the logo and menu).
I would move the twitter, etc links elsewhere - it's a bit unclear what these are for.
A bit more spacing between the intro paragraph and the intro paragraph and the 3 content buckets would help.
I'd make the portfolio item straight, not wonky. Make more of your work - bigger pictures, show it off!
