Very professional logo, the type looks great, colors are nice aswell. The symbol also looks good, it could be closer to the text though (or should I see them as different concepts?).
I think that even if you take the symbol away the type has enough personality to be a brand.
I don't know about the 'Conx'/'Connex' because I speak a different language and I'm not sure if 'conx' can be easily interpreted as connects.
