    This bg is just taking the attention from where you want it- I'd suggest you to change it. You may also consider slightly rebuilding the top- the menu looks quite outdated compared to the rest of your design.

      Yeah I'm beginning to see the flaws with the background. Also the header is not exactly right, I found that when trying to add the navigation elements.
