Even though I like 2 quite a lot, for me walking in a supermarket or a shop, it's just not eye-catching enough.

Try taking the best qualities from both and combining them.

i.e. Large message and easier to find URL from concept 2, and the texture and image from 1.

Also how about getting combining the messages, to make "Don't Stop. Gear Up & Go". This way you get rid of the fight for attention by all the different messages.
