The color scheme along with the minimal design on the left nav bar gives this site a sleek look. Very lux. Nice.

On the inside page, however, I find the copy hard to read. I'd consider making the white area more opaque or getting rid of the transparency effect all together. Perhaps after that is adjusted, I would be more motivated to read the text.

Some other questions and thoughts I had were: 1. What happens when there is more text than fits in the space provided? 2. Is the main area of the site Flash? 3. Are there any animated effects?

Oh! I also dig on the dots at the top of the design. They remind me of flash bulbs going off at a fashion show.

Maybe the white block of text may be the wrong choice. The opacity was to maintain the "large image" theme.

The client's budget and my personal design style means No Flash. But I'm using some DHTML to make the large image fade slideshow-style.

      Thx for your comments.

It's still a pretty large image without the transparency, compared to the content.
