I like the top font better has more flow, I just wish that you would incorporate the grey into the green test tube icon next to it.
I agree with Alan horne, the dark grey is to dark, maybe incorporate a gradient grey fade to white so that the top of the text looks likes it's fading away similiar to that of your icon, the dots on the i's could also be bubbles.
'branding + design' I would make the negative space between the G and the D the plus symbol thus getting rid of it completely.
