Your Design is good, when i see this whats comes in my mind is "Its all about Guitar", frankly it looks like a music album CD cover page. Now coming to the point, you were supposed to design a logo for music events, so viewers or audience should get at least 50% purpose from logo. Am not saying your logo is bad, this one is unique and genuine, but doesn't server the purpose. Try to relate the logo with what type of music company is playing or what audience should expect from these events.
