    good job. I like it. May still need some more polishing but overall, good job. Maybe do some more work on the color story, be sure to use complimentary colors. Footer could be livened up a bit.

      Why should I use complimentary colours? I think the contrasting colours help separate the content...

      I guess we can agree to disagree here. I prefer working with like color to really balance out the look and feel of the site. Sometimes. and i think it happens in this case, when you use contrasting colors, you have to be careful of which colors you use, because the more colors you use, the more distracting it is to your users eye. Hope this makes sense.
