It's an improvement over the solid red bar I see on your website now.
I think the textured version is better than the plain one.
But it doesn't say much to me about your work. I wouldn't have noticed that it is the letters B and D except that you pointed it out in your description.

I do like the textured version more too; but the logo should work when it's small too. I will try to make the 'B' and 'D' more visible.
