It's cool...

I think the bg seems to almost seperate out the site as if you've got it sectioned off - because the grey grad takes up that much space.

Its a nice simple layout though that works well for its purpose

It'd be good if you could use a nicer font for body text and some depth to the page itself. Maybe adding some more interaction points for users would help this design out too
