I would not put his age on the site. Even though he may have the skills to produce, it can hurt him in the long run. Most people have a misconception of young people and feel they are not responsible or business oriented.
The overall design is nice, however, not unique. If his target is website designers, I believe it needs to be professional but with an edge. As far as content it looks as if you are heading in the right direction with the menu. But what exactly does he offer, what services and skills does he have? Why should he be chosen over a competitor? The answer to these questions only he can answer. I like the color scheme, it works very well. I would like to see his portfolio.
