The first one is grand! I'd encourage you to think about what will happen to your image when it is shrunk down to the minute size of appearing on a letterhead however. I don't know if the detail from the map on the left would be clearly seen. Try it out, if it can be seen at that small of a size that I'd say the first one is your winner. I might also consider changing the font color of "surf" from black to something a little more fitting. Both designs are good, but I really like the first one.
