You have an ok concept on the front page even if it is not really my style. I would center the content box and make the repeating background blend in better. As for the secondary pages, they are confusing. What is the difference between the portfolio and images of work? There seems to be a lot of dead links. Overall, you need to sit down and think of a consistent design to repeat all over the website and then optimize images so your pages can load faster.

thanks for the advice. I agree about the portfolio/images link. i started out intending on a personal site and separate portfolio site but it kind of all just melted together.

now, as far as the difference in pages, i was trying to capture the 'work area' in the theme depending on the discipline of art. ie. photography page to look like a darkroom, etc, but the condition arises that the pages are somewhat dissimilar. any ideas on how to make respective pages correspond to each subject and yet retain visual harmony across the site? thanks for the input!
