    I don't get it

Under the "About Me" I'm not sure which images are links and which are not. E.g. Did you design the WWF site[!], are you a volunteer, or do you make donations? What do the butterflies signify? Why is there a cartoon bee?

This site seems to be designed more for yourself than an audience - the lack of structure, purpose, and definition really, really confuses me. As Steve Krug says: you need to make your site like a billboard; the message needs to be clear otherwise people aren't going to read it.

I think I understand that you are trying to go with a visual-only design: if so, clearly define sections, links, etc. Place more of an emphasis on your work; the thumbs are too hard to discern at the moment, so make them bigger - make your work shine and speak for itself. Usability should not have to suffer :)

For the "About Me" section: only place elements there that make sense. If the images do not make sense on their own, then add a short description.

I really love the header. I'd suggest working from that as a base to create the rest of the design. Good luck!
