I really like the design the colours are nice and rich enough to appear warm and inviting.
I like the updated tab colour being in the brown rather then the previous Grey it fits in much nicer and doesn't hit you as 'hello i'm a tab.'
The two small areas I would possibly look at would be the 'meditate, live purely...' it's quite hard to read over the images (I realise this may change when you change the images) but as it currently is it's quite hard to read, also what is your reason for all left aligned except for the 'tep pranam' line?
The other thing is the wood grain I wonder if it's a bit much with all the other imagery going on it's almost sensory overload. My suggestion would be to lower it a little so it's more subtle which makes it a nice surprise when people realise that it's a woodgrain and not just 'brown gradient'
