Personally I don't think the second photo makes it very clear what the name of the company is.
To me it looks like it was just called 'Box'. Perhaps if you had the 'a' on the other side it might be better??
Personally I like the font. I think the colours go quite well with the background colour, not sure if it would stand out enough against a white background though.

Font
I really like the font. However, did you try using one which has a symmetric B? It may attract more attention that way and may look more down to earth.

It may be a lot of work without a proper 3d program, but you could try making the box translucent (as one of the above readers pointed out) and make a three dimensional "a" which shines through. I think "boxes" are dangerous, because people that think in terms of boxes are not open or creative. They are closed, boxed, introverted, lost inside theirselves. Play around with that concept a bit and it might ease things up. - in combination with some other font for "box" (as mentioned in 2), you could really create something outstanding. I really love the rounded font inside the edgy box! Keep it that way :)
