    why?

I see no reason to have this random landing page with nothing but a photo that links you to the home page. You are making your users jump through more hoops to get to the information you want to present to them. It's like a flash intro, which people generally hate, except it's even more distracting because there isn't any information presented and you HAVE to click to get through.

For the site itself, the navigation and image at the top are a little bit conflicting, and the image might be a little too big. Titling a page "Home Page" is somewhat pointless as it provides no real information. You should indicate using your navigation somehow (change background color, text color, etc) which page you are on in the site.

I would separate the footer away from the content area and just make it white text on the red background. It doesn't really look like a footer right now, but the content in it is all footer. The division between content and footer also is awkward with the gradients.

Also, I don't know what is causing it, but the load times on your site are extremely slow for me. It looks like you are using a single file with PHP queries, but this is probably not the best method for optimization on the web.

Hello Patrick, thanks so much for your comment. Concerning the homepage, I thought putting some photo editing company and setting up a redirect to the website automatically without waiting or click the visitor.

Regarding the navigation and header do not agree entirely with your point of view because I think the image is well proportioned and pleasing the effect of transparency of the menu. It could change color when the rollover.

Regarding the footer I fully agree with you .. but I did not have much time to separate from the rest of the site.

Regarding the access time is too slow at first logon. Navigation within the individual pages I do not seem so slow.

Thanks a lot for your advice!

A question .... because I have given a vote in order. It seems to me that the site has a purpose that is understandable and the presentation of a company and a description of a foodstuff and the precise site there are all indications of the case. This I did not understand ...

I think the site itself does a pretty good job of getting the information that people are looking for out there, the reason i rated purpose low is because I think having that landing page can easily scare users away or confuse them, thus they are not even making it to the home page. I probably could have given a 2 for this because the other parts of the site are ok when it comes to purpose, but I did want to be harsh because if the user never even makes it to the home page then the site has no purpose at all. Hope that helps!
