Before saying anything I want to say say that this is a very beautiful web site: it is very feminine but not girlie ;-}. The green you choose is great: vibrant and alive, almost radioactive. The little flower/leafs look like paper cutouts.
This is just me but on the flower itself the only thing that it is not working is the circle. It doesn't have the same quality that the leaves. The leaves have this flat, slight 3D, look to them whereas the circle is very rounded and it doesn't seem to be connected to the leaves. What do you think?
Again, the web site is great, but... the text boxes "What I do", "A little about me" are still not working with the rest of the design. The two column change you did still fells disconnected. I can see the structural vertical "invisible lines" between "web design" and "a little about me", but the text underneath the label seem lost. What if you reduced the negative space between "Welcome" and "What I do" ? If the text goes over the tips of some petals that is ok! That would kill the problem with 1024 x 768 (even though it is not the end of world). Maybe some horizontal line on that space (very subtle) just to give some more structure to that area. You could you some of your "shadow" like horizontal cuts, or even bringing the theme of the flower to the text boxes...somehow.
Congratulations, you are a wonderful designer.

Marcio Cabral commented:Go with the stats: nobody will ever get this screen size to work 100% perfect. Regardless, your site is really beautiful. I LOVE this kind of bigger than life minimalist look.

Thank you Marcio, I was not sure about that circle too. Great that you mentioned it, means my hesitation had some grounds. Regarding "What I do" and "A little about me" sections I am struggling there to find a compromise. The thing is that when I move it up higher to reduce the white space what happens is that on the screens larger than 1024 (statistic says 70% of users have larger screens) I am getting huge white space below those sections. The top looks then too crowded in contrast to the bottom. I'll definitely try to add lines/shadows to that area to give it more structure. Thank you again for the suggestions and compliments.
