i think this is a good attempt at being different and creative but generally I don't think it works. The logo within the header bar is far too large and needs to be taken out of the design and put up top where I don't need to see it all the time. The 3d bar in general is poorly done and doesn't really look 3d. Your thumbnails are too large for the space they are in and your text within the content area leaves much to be desired. I think you might benefit from starting fresh on this one.
