I agree with NewsPark and Gregory their comments. The design looks good already but definitely needs some polishing.

The main problem I see is that you are mixing up 3 "types" of design.

The header is centred and makes it look like you're having a very "vertical" design. But then you have 2 columns and they totally break your flow. Those columns still make it seem like you're building a "vertical" design but the content in the left column screams for a "horizontal" design. It can't breathe! It needs more padding but doesn't have the space.

So in short: you needs to lay out a grid and stick to it. Make wise use of white space.

The logo is cool but I don't particularly like the rest of the header.

The right column is ok but not very important, so I would change it to a one column layout and create a big header / middle part / footer.

Then last but not least try to make some clever use of typography and add some more colour to spice it up!

I think the design is okay but I would almost begin from scratch.

Ugh, I can't edit my rating 'cuz the current one is a bit too harsh. Don't pay too much attention to it :P. Rating is: OK, Goal is: Awesome! Right? ;)
