Stephen, huge improvement on the old version but it's still very problematic from usability point of view.
too distracting and too messy. The less distracting site the easier it will be for users to 'understand' where to go.
One promotion is enough - you will loose credibility if you have more things screaming from the homepage.
I suggest a traditional simple menu showing all product categories (see picture). This way users will have a fast route to the thing they are interested in and also will see all your offering.
I suggest you don't use 'on mouse over' menus opening from the main menu bar. Things should work 'on click'
You loose a lot of real-estate in the header. I think you should cut it down because it's a good practice to keep the most important stuff above the fold. Only 20% of users scroll below it.
I would suggest also starting from wire-framing first to get user experience right and when it's finished start with graphical design.
Good luck

Hi Michael, I tried menus like this in much older versions of the website and while they look great we had so much products to add it become I felt very very crowded. Don't get me wrong I think it looks very well and i like the colours, but I am trying to make the site less colorful as the live site at present - www.printing.ie
Do you think if I adapted the menu instead of the mouse over menus for the main bar to a click on an click off state that would be better instead of bringing the visitor to another page. I have reduced the length of the page also.
I would love your feedback. Cheers, Stephen
