You need to show me. Do not tell me. If you are a comedian would you tell me you are funny or would you make me laugh. You have far more impact if you make me laugh then I will say you are funny. Show me you are talented by your design. Also a web graphic designer is not a very important hire these days. An "experience designer" is what you are. You design web experiences.
