I think the overall design is good. The color scheme is very soothing, text placement if also a plus. I can easily identify portions of information gradually. Good play with the font sizes and faces.
The bird gives a flare of colors but again is too constrained with the main picture.
Another thing I would suggest is maybe having some text going over his holder, Or maybe having is image not so trapped by the elements around him.
