I like the design a lot. My first impression was this is really cool. After looking at it for more than 30 seconds, then it sinks in that there isn't much beyond the general look and feel that grabs me. I suspect this will change dramatically once you have the real content and can flesh it out a bit more.
So I think it's an excellent base in which to build on. Great work.
