    There's a few issues that need to be addressed immediately:

    • The arrow sizes need to be consistent and should all be at minimal weight.
    • Possibly change arrows to "+" and "-".
    • Need to integrate more white-space around type.
    • Try a lighter font and if that doesn't "clear the air" maybe lighten the color (#333 or even #555).
    • Experiment with different tables. Seems like there's more lines being used than needed.

    You'd get a lot more usability points if this could translate to a good user interface. Make sure to use a lot of session handlers and a little AJAX.

      Also might look into using AJAX "accordion" or "tabs" to minimize even more use of space.

      Good suggestion; I was thinking of accordion as an idea for this as well.
