I love the color scheme and type choice, but there are just some small things that need tweaking. The x-height of the logo sits just below the menu system... those should be aligned a bit more. As others have said, I prefer the first version, but the "stickies" shouldn't cover up the main message. Also, the large "we handcraft..." sticks off the left side a bit (over the bottom bar) as well as the right sticky. If you're going to have a bar, you might as well align other things to it.
