Noel~ great cause, thanks for giving your time to such an important subject. the puppies are begging to be watched, i want to see the video :) so thats a good sign~ i saw a lovely website today that is highly unrelated as far as content. but i think your site needs more warmth and hope which others have mentioned above.. please visit: http://www.thebeatlesrockband.com/ theres even a neat frame around a video that would be interesting for you to incorporate, ...only following your very separate theme. at the bottom of the website i even imagined the silhouette of a person with a bunch of pets.. we need to see the difference the organization is making, success stories.. other creatures in peril.. (cats, horses, birds?) looking forward to seeing this on the web.. and i do think you're off to a fantastic start...!

The video is there to watch if you'd like, right in the description :D That Beatles website is really nicely done, thank you for linking me to it. I'll probably steal a couple ideas ;)
Right now that site would be a one page campaign with the entire website (which is up atm) behind it (i.e. if you're not interested in the campaign, click to go to the regular website which is a lot lighter and colorful). I thought the dark would be ok seeing as it's a one type deal... and I've really seen some messed up stuff there (didn't have the courage to put them in the video obviously).
