    This is close but not quite there...

    I like the emotional pull here on the site but think you need to tighten things up quite a bit. Move the whole design up so that the dog is on the left with the video to the right and very little space above the header, maybe 25px. Then overlay the text on top of the dog. Give more space between the header and the footer. All make sense?

      Solid ideas there Nate, thanks for the feedback. I agree on there being too much space... I'll work on it :)
