I think this has some work to do, but the general direction is good. Here is what I would do.

1. Separate the logo from the navigation and place the logo in the upper left.
2. Get rid of the guy in the chair and form a more normal content area

I think what I like about this is the background and texture that you have used. I think in general, the layout needs a lot of work.
