First off great design! You managed to keep the basic feel of the site yet really move them up to a whole new level.
I must disagree with changing the color scheme. I am a fan of the mild, organic palette. Although it wouldn't hurt to throw in a bright color in very small places.
I also agree that 'healing changes everything' could benefit from a softer font.
The top buttons feel a bit cheap to me. They feel almost 'generated'. Maybe work on getting those up to par with the rest of your design.
I'll be interested to see any hover effects when the site is up.
Again great job and I hope they hire you!
