I like the design and the direction you tried to take this. Here are some of the things I would change:
Contrast: Light blue on white doesn't work that well. You'd want to try some different combinations that should give you better result. Try taking colors of the baloons you're using, that'll make the design interesting.
Font selection: I'm not sure about the font you've selected. Verdana is also becoming a poor choice for body text these days.
- The punchline should be more prominent. The color selection makes it less important.
