It's a great design, love how you've incorporated all the pub-like elements in there. One thing you might want to try is see if you can get the leather strap look like it's folded around the edge of the header like you see in some of the ribbon designs here http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/01/04/showcase-of-modern-navigation-design-trends/

Thank you Jurre! I tried that and it felt a little too web 2.0/and don't want to say broke the design, but gave it an awkward feel :)
