    This is getting way too busy. I like the background, but if you're going to use it, you need to simplify things. The content area also feels pretty awkward and unfinished. Extend the light gray box below "Web Design & Development..." to the entire width of the box above it.

      Maybe try adding some sort of plain, slightly transparent background on the content area? Below are some sites that are good inspiration for you:
