I think this starts of with a good feel /ambiance then gets bogged down .
Although I like the big balloons and the space that is created on the home page
I think its to much to carry through as a header and would have to be toned /scaled down through out the balance of the pages.
The highlighting/background color at text definitely gets old fast I think you need to reexamine that if only to have it less in your face.
Over all I like where its going .
