The design serves the purpose, however I feel certain elements break up the flow, i.e. the find button could be better off as text button (text or image, doesn't matter, but "Search"). I think people are so used to it, it would come easy. Also a red search is almost like stop! As such I'm not sure if you want to play with the palette a little.
