I agree with what the other reviews are saying.
I think you need to scrap the icons on the headings altogether, they scream clip art at me. I think the social media ones are ok, if a little large.
The green does need pimping up a bit.
Do you need the intro text under the welcome para? That will surely be in the about section. Maybe you could combine the two and shorten it.
The serif font is a little hard to read for me. What if you did the headings in your marker pen style, and the text in the sans-serif font?
I like the can and the grunge BG. But there does seem to be a bit too many mix of styles at the moment.
