Sorry Swarat it took me so long to review the concepts you asked me about. I will make amends now :) So here we go.
I like the overall concepts here. It's clean, bright and has pretty good feel and flow but there is definitely a sense that this concept is just slightly off of where it could be.
Let's just start at the top. I like the diagonal stripes, I love the the logo with the light very well done. I am not really a big fan of the tabs. I honestly liked the rounded rectangles better. As for the yellow I am not really sure that is the best color choice for the background color you have there is not enough contrast between the two. I think that if you make the background darker, it will help bring the site together more. If you like the background color you have then another fix would be to lessen the gradient on the yellow and make the top more like the bottom color. The bottom of the yellow has pretty good contrast but the top is too light. The quote is ok. I would like to see what it looks like if you made it two lines and made the text larger. As for the 3 columns below the quote. They are just not working for me. I think they all need to have the text left aligned. It think it looks kinda funny with them all being centered. I think they need some sort of definition between them and the background. Maybe a slightly darker gray background in each column would help.
All that said I think you have a good concept, just need to refine it.
