This is a great start and looks very nice. However here are some of my concerns:
Is your target market mostly women? If not I would seriously reconsider the largely feminine colors, illustrations and layout.
The text area for the about us page is really heavy. Try and increase the line spacing.
The right column looks a little unfinished and needs some refinement.
Like I said, I think this looks really good so far, but just think you need to work through some of the details.

Looking on the design again, I can see what you mean about the top text area and right sidebar.
