I like my site to be clean and minimalist. Yours is somewhat like that and I like it though the other person has a point. Kids love colors, play more with colors so the kids would ask their moms to buy them the goods from your site. suggestion: candy colors :P cheers! gluck!

It seems colour is my main problem here.
Most of her clients have been women. She often sells her peices at art shows or through custom order, so I don't think her target is actually children (many of her paintings are surreal and child-like but wouldn't appeal to kids). Parents usually contact her to paint something for a kid's room or something, but not vice versa. Nevertheless, I think candy colours might work well to evoke the sense of playfulness she achieves in her paintings. Thank you for the suggestion!
