    The blue boxes

    Hi Jordan,

I feel the colors here need to show sophistication and be a bit more formal. Especially if your trying to promote someone else's business, as well as, yours. Right now you are displaying fun in the sun beach colors, rather than a rich, sophisticated color. Color is really going to help me as a viewer to know that your company is serious and to trust your views and recommendations from the get go.

Maybe consider aligning the two blue boxes on the right to some element on the left half of the page.

Maybe also consider making a title for the bottom text starting with "Our directory of property..."

The block size is different for "Select Your Property Type" and "Enter your Zip" maybe consider making them the same height? One aligns to the middle of the text and then the other to the top of the text. (consistency of elements)

Overall, I think this front page will benefit from, new color choices, exploration within a grid and more alignments points, as well as, consistency in the layout of the elements.

I think the hierarchy needs to be addressed. ( As the two blue boxes, compete with the heading in orange for attention.) Therefore confusing the reader on what your site is first and foremost about.

I like the logo and the sun behind the city. It seems like you have the needed info to inform your potential customers, it just needs a bit of attention to get your information across more effectively to your viewers.

Best feedback yet from this site. Thanks so much for your comments, I found them to be quite insightful. I had been thinking some of the same things about the fonts and alignment but was not able to articulate what exactly it was that needed to be adjusted. I am totally open to high level artistic critique so long as the final decision is data driven. To that end, we will likely perform some split test with different colors and design accents this year. Again thanks for the insightful comments.
