Text Blocks in "Cure News" section.

    Hi Joel,

I definitely like the last colored version the best. The first thing I said for the grey version was "where's the color?"

I enjoy the last version for several reasons, the color, the smiling faced pictures and the opportunity to view other children under "see our kids."

There are just a couple things that may make a difference when it comes to your text: Under the "Cure News " section. The first line of text is awfully long and looks a bit awkward in the boxed area as you have it. Maybe consider aligning all the text to under the title "Clubfoot Siblings..." and ending the first text line at the end of the word "...CURE" in that title. This way it will push the text to the next line and make it look much better.

I like the space(padding) that you give around your text in the block above "DONATE NOW" I am wondering if you used the same padding around your text block under your "Latest Posts" ( for the text block seems a bit pushed to the left inside that framed block.)

In the last version: Currently an arrow accompanies your "Donate Now" button, yet, an arrow does not accompany your other main colored links on the page.

I like " Give the gift of Healing" better than "Help Cure Now" . Is the word "NOW" needed in all your donation links?

Well, Overall, I think it is a lovely site.

Amy. thanks for your input. Very thoughtful and you've made some good points I'll have to look at. Soon I'm going to close this concept and "post a new version" with the actual HTML and CSS mockup I've been working on...I hope you'll give me some feedback love on that one too!

Hi Amy, I'm back at work and reviewing some of the suggestions you've made above. Thanks again for your helpful thoughts.

One question I have is in your 4th paragraph above you refer to my "Latest Posts" and made a suggestion about the padding of that element. I'm not sure I understand where you are referring to. Would you mind clarifying that please?

Also, just to answer your question about the use of the word "NOW" that is something my VP of Communication feels pretty strongly about using, and there are a couple good reasons. One is that our site URL is helpcurenow.org, and the other is that you'll find it is a recommended best practice for fundrasing to use the word "NOW" rather than just Donate or in similar Calls to Action.

Also "Gift of Healing" is specific to our Christmas Gift Catalog appeal, so we would not want to use it other than that to prevent confusion.

      Thanks again!

      Hi Joel,

On the last version presented above under "Latest Posts" you have the text in a text box. Basically, I was suggesting to center the text block, in the text box keeping the left alignment as you have it.

Thanks for letting me know about the word "Now" and such.
