Have you tried flipping the main image horizontally so that the couple would look into the page, not away from it? Of course then you have to Photoshop the FRAGILE...

There's so many studies that say visual focus is critical. Perhaps you could try the image the other way for a few days and see what your analytics say. I like the idea of a 3rd color and extra line spacing. I agree that the paragraphs might be too long. I dig the red and the gradient (gray to white). I don't think it looks dirty. Domestic does stand out a bit - perhaps they could all be uniform and then flip on uniform. I think it looks great! :)

at first i noticed that also, but he's looking back at her bringing the visual emphasis back into the page. i think it's okay...
