    Hey Christoph! :)

I'm a photography geek myself and your photos and design are lovely.

There are some nicks to work out though:

    1. Navigation. Your blog has no top (header) navigation and it's awkward to scroll till the bottom to check our your about/contact page.

    2. Size. As some of the other good people said here the site is not easy to navigate on 1024x768. I would decrease the size of the photos and/or move the photo menu at the bottom of the picture.

    3. Commenting. I find it very annoying to enter my comment in a straight line. Like most of us, we're used to enter a comment filling in fields from top to bottom not from left to right. Also, the message box might be to small for a loger comment. This might be a personal annoyance but I can't help it.

    4. Features. You might want to think of implementing a tag cloud or categories (Think of it this way: what happens when you hit 100 entries? How do you access them? Next/Forward would take ages).

    5. Try to make the right menu for photos more menu like. At least change the cursor to "pointer" when hovering over it.

That's about it. Show us more of those photos man :)

Hi Zeno, thank you very much for this extremely profound review! I agree on the menu/commenting/features stuff. Will take some time though until I get to that because I have a lot of other sites to work on, but I will definitely look into it. Concerning the resolution however, I believe we designers should push the limits a bit. Eventually it will lead to users switching to better resolution systems when they realize their PC can't hold up, which in turn will give designers more freedom to express themselves sonner than later. Of course not if you design for a service that is meant to be really widespread, but for small initiatives like that, let's not hold back.

      Hey Christoph,

Well I guess it does depend on your target group :) Z.
